Food safety: a daily commitment at Ajinomoto Foods Europe

Our teams reaffirm their commitment to food safety on World Food Safety Day, celebrated every year on 7 June. At Ajinomoto Foods Europe, these issues are at the heart of our corporate culture, supported by all our employees and integrated into each of our processes.

A life-size clue hunt game at our production plant in Nesle

To mark this global day in an original way, our production plant in Nesle organised a fun activity in June: a collaborative clue hunt game based on a fictitious customer complaint.

The participants, divided into multidisciplinary teams, were invited to:

  • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments
  • Follow a series of clues scattered around the site
  • Conduct a root cause analysis
  • Discuss best practices in food safety

🎯 A fun but essential mission: to strengthen food safety skills and raise awareness, in a practical way, of the importance of rigour and traceability in our processes.

An educational, friendly and engaging activity

This unique format, which was both participatory and interactive, made it possible to:

  • Stimulate reflection and analysis around food safety issues
  • Offer an innovative and memorable learning experience
  • Encourage exchanges between departments (production, quality, maintenance, administration, etc.)
  • Strengthen team spirit in a supportive atmosphere

🥇 The most insightful teams were rewarded… but all participants came away with a collective learning experience in a friendly and empowering spirit!
